He was also kind enough to provide the flies tied in the these photos.

Universal Bug Bodies - Use in a clamshell fashion. 
Make a hole at the fold with scissors or a bodkin and insert the eye of the hook
 to form the bulk of the body.  Then wrap the body with with thread
in the proper highlighting color to imitate segmentation.
