In 1999 you read Bob Veverka's book,
Innovative Saltwater Flies, and learned about Capt. Joe Blados
and his killer crease flies and especially his crease fly poppers.

But... consistently cutting out those
shapes was difficult and frustrating.
Some of you have had us make
custom crease fly cutters to your
specifications.

Others of you asked us to add
a crease fly pattern to our
product line.

We listened.

Since then you have cut and painted and tied many of these flies and found them to be not only highly effective with excellent popper action on the water, but you also discovered that tying them can be highly creative. 

No two crease fly poppers have to look alike; you can exercise endless artistic approaches for tantalizing (and catching!) fish in both freshwater and saltwater.

We think artistic expression and variety is nicely demonstrated by Thomas Gorman in a few of his flies, pictured below.

We worked with Joe Blados on the specific shapes and sizes of his crease fly patterns.  Thus, sizing of our cutters is based on the Mustad 34011 hook.  However, the body length can be varied to fit a variety hooks for both freshwater and saltwater.
